I've lost about 8 lbs in about 3 weeks not a bad little diet if you find nice meals plans, the keto flu is not nice at first with sore throat and dry mouth but that's starting to ease up now. I was hungry at first but that goes away.

I shed seventeen lbs while adhering to the "fetching tuti space" (Google it). This program is great for individuals who are happy to modify their way of life to experience weight reduction. It’s a fantastic feeling that my body is now shedding a lot of fat..

Huge short term gains with serious long term ramifications to one’s health. Shame on Dr. Oz for promoting this crap. It’s all a numbers game. The more sensational a story is then the higher the views. Just the latest “fad” that will soon follow the paths of paleo, bone broth and whatever “quick fix” people want to buy into. It’s so sad because most people are clueless about the internal damage done to the body eating these macros.

How do you make no. 2 without carbs, though? A plate of vegetables isn't enough.

36 lbs down in 5 months on keto! Dr. Eric Berg, Thomas De Lauer and Dr. Jason Fung have great keto videos and intermittent fasting and understanding as we ingest high glycemic index foods insulin increases and we stop burning fat and gaining weight essentially. Keeping your insulin low is essential to the diet, and that is easily done with the amounts of fat and protein consumed on a keto diet. And no potatoes on keto… they have higher glycemic index than sugar actually Dr. Oz! Lol

My diet consisted of salads five days of the week. Sunday was the cheat day and Saturday was semi-cheat.

I've been doing keto for over 12 weeks, and I've lost 30 pounds. I have about 25 more pounds to go. And I have no doubt that I'm going to get there. Easiest diet I've ever done.

For those just starting out wanting to try Keto…..keeping your daily carbs at or below 20 net carbs will really get you into ketosis. I never followed the 70, 25, 5% ….that can be overwhelming. So here is the simple version to try…get up and have a coffee with heavy cream and a stevia, or erythritol, or monk fruit sweetener in it….have 2 fried eggs and 4 slices of bacon. The fat from the cream and bacon will keep you full until lunch. Have some baked wings or any kind of real unprocessed meat, (steak, fish, chicken with skin on etc) with either broccoli/cauliflower, green beans (don't forget to have butter melted over those veggies…fat keeps you full)……, or spinach salad or a Caesar salad for lunch. Then in the evening a similar meal….you can use an app called carb manager to enter your ingredients to track the carbs or calories. If you need to snack, try pork rinds with a small amount of popcorn seasoning, or cheese sticks or a few pepperoni slices. Stay away from sugar, flour, pasta, potatoes or rice. Keep mostly to green veggies. This is a great way to start and then watch keto videos, such as high Falutin low carb, cooking keto with Kristie, keto chaos, Lauren Brazee, also http://www.dietdoctor.com, etc for tips on recipes or grocery hauls to know what to do for a successful weight loss journey. The great advantage to keto is weight loss for those who struggle with extreme obesity or diabetes (most reverse it within 3 months of keto lifestyle).

While the short term improvements are amazing long term there should be caution. I am sure the weight loss is beneficial for improving health risks of diabetes, high blood pressure long term there are risks that have been recently been published. Increased risk of dying prematurely have come to light in recent study of patients. Here is the link to this study:

I do not want to discourage anyone from doing what they feel is best for them but just be cautious concerning long term health risks.
