Hi Hannah! Watching this I was wondering if you have ever tried Dr Greger's Daily Dozen? I used it for a while to help me remember to get all my nutrients every day. If you haven't tried, it would be great to see what you think about it 🙂

As you build more muscle you may find that you can consume more calories without gaining as well, as your body will be burning a lot more even at rest. But we're all in different places and have different requirements! People need to mind they business lol!!

Dr. Greggers daily dozen challenge! I’ve only made it 75% but I love using it alongside your meal plan. Make sure you get enough fats from avocado or nuts to help fill you up and deliver all those nutrients around the body.

You might want to log your food including the celery juice into chronometer. The celery might take you over your sodium requirements (depending on how the rest of your day looks like) 🙂

I have been swinging 8 oz of celery juice for 8 weeks. If not used to it, it will act like a mild.laxitive. the one thing I noticed is that I feel more control over my cravings.

Been drinking celery juice every morning for 4 years or so. I do once in awhile add cucumbers and some greens to it. Best choice you could make

I thought celery was basically water? Can someone explain to me the benefits of celery? Should I do a green juice (like kale, collard greens, etc) or a celery juice ?

Yes, thank you for saying the stuff about calories. Most of the people who are proponents of the 2,000+ calories are recovering from anorexia and were/are severely underweight. Also, they have never had to deal with being overweight, and are typically really young (and can eat more), or just have high metabolisms. I tried eating 2000+ calories (of healthy food) and felt sluggish and bloated and gained 10 lbs in 2 weeks on top of needing to lose weight. So frustrating. You would not recommend to a drug addict recovering to go and consume as much of the drug as possible so you will never want it again (which is what most of these people recommend). It has taken me weeks to get off just 5 lbs of the weight I gained from it. So frustrating, and yes, just wrong of people to recommend this.

This might be a kind of stupid question, but I'm looking to learn and get others experiences. Does anyone struggle hitting a calorie deficit by the end of the day? Not because you aren't exercising enough, but because you feel hungry by the end of the day and then end up eating to feel full and now you've eaten more than your deficit? It also seems logical to me that people can't expect others to eat the same caloric intake as them, like 2500-3000 calories a day and still have a deficit by the end of the day when we all have different daily activities. For myself and many others, our work life is sedentary in activity because we have decks jobs, and my activities after work include a side job that is also sedentary. By the time I'm able to get in a decent amount of exercise, there's no way I'm able to burn off more than I eat if I ate 2500-3000 calories a day. Intake vs burned numbers are going to differ for everyone depending on their daily activities, right?

Have you come across Dr. McDougall? He suggests starch as the base of the diet to find stability.

Hi Hannah, Thanks for this video. I have a question, how much time of exercize does it takes you to burn 2200 kcal a day? And what kind of activities do you do? I go to the gym everyday for 1h30 and burn about a thousand kcal and i could not go longer or harder as I am pretty tired after that! I only do cardio (bike, elliptical, trade-meal, swimming) with a lot of incline and I keep a steady pace, as fast as I can manage right now.
